I completed my training as a relational therapist at The Toronto Institute of Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP). TIRP has been training therapists for over 20 years with their experientially rich and academically rigorous program that helps students develop their best personal integration of self, theory and practice.
I have also completed my Level 1 training as a somatic therapist at the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute (SPI). SPI is an international educational organization that delivers an unparalleled state-of-the-art somatic psychotherapy training substantiated by neuroscience, attachment theory, cognitive approaches, as well as the Hakomi Method.
I commit to ongoing professional development and continuing education by attending workshops and conferences and by participating in clinical supervision and peer supervision groups. I also maintain a commitment to my self growth by working with a relational psychotherapist and a somatic psychotherapy group.
I hold an honours degree in Anthropology from the University of Toronto and I have a background in dance and the performing arts. I am a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy and I am governed by their Code of Ethics.
